As you can see Linda K. Murdock has many diverse interests. She grew up in small towns around Springfield, Illinois and obtained her degree in math and history. She worked for a bank, a railroad and the Bureau of Railroads for the state's transportation department. When a business trip brought her to Denver, she knew this was the place for her. Here she has worked as a financial planner, a mutual fund analyst and in the tax department of a gold mining firm. "Having learned from so many others, how not to run a business, my husband and I started our own print shop." Linda has traced her roots back ten generations in the U.S. Along with her books, she has written articles for the Colorado Historical Society and does music reviews for the Colorado Blues Society. When not reading or writing you may find her running errands on her scooter.
